Your dream clients are in pain

(here's how you can help them)

Yesterday I dropped a post on LinkedIn about pain points…

And why talking about pain points in your content doesn't work.

In a nutshell, it's just too broad.

When I ask new clients to tell me what they think their audience's pain points are, I usually get answers like:

"They don't know how to write on LinkedIn."
"They need help getting leads."
"They don't have an offer."

While these may be true, they're generic.

You need to be WAY more specific if you want to actually convert followers into leads through your content.

Here's how I break down audience pain with my clients:

1. Problems → The actual daily challenges your audience faces.

↳ Their engagement is too low.
↳ They don't have enough time.
↳ They don't have enough leads.

2. Objections → The reasons your audience doesn't take action.

↳ Coaching services cost too much.
↳ You don't have enough social proof.
↳ They don't know how you solve their problem.

3. Incorrect Beliefs → What your audience thinks is true about your niche but isn't.

 ↳ Storytelling doesn't work.
↳ Content can't really bring in leads.
↳ Hiring a coach won't actually help them.

Here are some example hooks to show how you can turn this into amazing content ⤵️

Educate:

  • "Hiring a coach won’t bring me leads." Here's why you're wrong.

  • X reasons why your engagement is low (and how to fix it).

Tell Stories:

  • Before I started telling stories, I was spending hours writing content every day.

  • 2 months ago I had no clue what storytelling was (and it showed).

Show Results:

  • Here's how my client went from zero to lead gen machine in X days.

  • How I doubled my engagement in 7 days.

Try identifying your own audience problems, objections, and incorrect beliefs and let me know what you come up with!
